Art Boutique Hotel Monopol

No matter if it’s your first time visiting St. Moritz or not – the Art Boutique Hotel Monopol is definitely worth checking out!

The hotel is located in the Via Maistra which is the most perfect location. You can easily walk everywhere by foot: The stores, the ski rental or the train. The most special thing about it, is the art collection they have: You will find a different artist on every floor – how cool is that?

At the Sky Bar you have an amazing view over the lake and the famous Badrutt’s Palace hotel. You should try the Pinsa Bruschetta there – it’s super delicious!

Talking about food, you can also find the Italian Mono Restaurant in the basement. We had a nice evening there in a very relaxing and calm atmosphere. Our favorite starter was the creamiest Burrata ever with Kumato tomatoes and basil pesto. For the main course we can recommend the Spagetthone with lobster, bisque and vegetable julienne.

But the hotel has not only a great dining selection, you can also treat yourself with a massage or spa treatment. The spa area also includes a whirlpool, a sanarium and more! And not to mention the breathtaking view overlooking the mountains.

Our highlight was definitely our suite (number 404). The minimalistic design and light materials made it look extra elegant and high quality. We had a little extra „living room“, the bedroom, a very big bathroom, a balcony and a LOT of closet and storage space. You can also overlook the cute streets of St. Moritz from the window or balcony. And you should definitely order the wonderful breakfast to the room once for some Parisian vibes!
