Sitting on a hill in the heart of the Balinese jungle, Villa Chameleon is named for its canny ability to blend with its lush surroundings.
Villa Chameleon is a contemporary luxury jungle residence set between the hype of Canggu and the peace of Tanah Lot, Bali. Designed by architect Valentina Audrito, founder of design studio Word of Mouth for an Australian family. The biggest challenge of the site was to create a structure that would be truly connected with its spectacular surroundings and judging by the name it deserved we would say that Valentino Audrito managed to do so.
Huge floor-to-ceiling windows maintain the connection with the outdoors by framing panoramic views of the tree canopy and the Bali holiday home’s private garden, while the structure’s volumes bed into the hillside thanks to their grass-covered roofs. The use of natural materials continues inside the pavilions with teak surfaces, which have been paired with cool concrete floors, grey walls and textiles, and a smattering of vintage furniture. The house is located on 3600 sqm west facing land with uninterrupted river and jungle views offering complete privacy and a spectacular living experience. An extraordinary place to pamper the soul, dial up your senses, connect with nature and expand your mind.
Villa Cameleon is available to rent via Airbnb from $968 per night, and the main house contains the living spaces, while two smaller pavilions contain guest bedrooms and an indoor pool.
